Most people agree that there’s more to playing Omaha than there is to playing holdem, yet, less people take starting hands into account as they play. It’s the craziest thing.
So take your edge where you can get it right?
Just like in holdem, sticking to premium starting hands gives you the best chance at actually making a hand or strong draw on the flop, and subsequently having the nuts by the river. Whether it’s the nuts to bet, or the nuts in the more poker related literal sense.

- Suited Aces and Kings (AAKK)
- Double Suited Aces (A pair of aces, with suited kickers)
- Suited Connectors (A hand that includes two possibilities to make a straight, like 3d-4d-Tc-Jc)
- Suited Pairs (hands like Qs-Ts-Qd-Td)
